Hannover Messe has been the international showcase for industrial technologies for decades - and in 2025 it once again lived up to its reputation. Under the motto “Tailwind for Industry”, companies from all over the world presented their innovations in the fields of automation, research & development, industrial IT and artificial intelligence.
For us, SFS-Fluidsysteme GmbH, it was a very special year: for the first time we were able to present our company at the world's most important industrial trade fair - and with great success.
Premiere with impact: SFS at the HMI 2025
Despite challenging global conditions - from economic uncertainty to geopolitical tensions - we took the opportunity to send a strong signal: Innovation from Austria is internationally competitive.
The trade fair appearance was a real aha moment for many trade visitors. A frequently heard sentence:
“I didn't even know that such high-tech solutions were produced in Austria.”
The focus of our trade fair booth was on our customer-specific pneumatic solutions - compact, efficient, performance-optimized. Our exhibits impressed with:
- Minimization of sealing points
- Integration of several functions in a single component
- Compact design with high performance
- And last but not least: solutions that make the seemingly impossible possible
Whether OEMs from the mechanical and plant engineering sector, dealers or special appliance manufacturers - the enthusiasm was palpable across all industries.
International contacts & new impulses
We were able to make 85 new specialist contacts from over 25 countries - an excellent basis for expanding our international sales network. European markets were particularly well represented: around two thirds of the new contacts came from countries between Norway and Portugal.
In addition to the new contacts, the trade fair was also an ideal platform for maintaining existing business relationships: Efficient networking, targeted discussions with customers, suppliers and partners - the HMI is far more than just an exhibition space for us.
Our conclusion: A strong presence with vision
Even though the visitor numbers of 127,000 were significantly below the pre-corona level of 2019 (215,000), our impression remains clear: the industry in Europe has a future. And we are making an active contribution to this with our innovative solutions.
