The back pressure sensor has the task of monitoring the function of cylinders. When the cylinder comes to a standstill or reaches the end position, the back pressure sensor emits a clear pneumatic signal. This is normally only possible with great effort by magnetically detecting the position of the magnetic piston over the entire stroke.

The back pressure sensor provides a purely pneumatic signal here. Pressure is applied to the control line as soon as the cylinder is at a standstill and the pressure in the vent drops.

This signal can be processed in a control system and can also be used optimally in ATEX-protected areas.

The back pressure sensor is manufactured from lead-free materials and therefore complies with all current ROHS and REACH regulations.

We will be happy to advise you on the use of the back pressure sensor.
